A new dawn of joy has arisen for some of the local farmers in Xai-Xai in the form of support to their farming from COGEF Group in collaboration with Amurt Mozambique.

The project has been started with a simple opening ceremony attended by local leaders, representative of the donor, representatives of AMURT Moz, 24 local farmers (consisting of widows and less capable farmers) and some local activists.

This project will uplift the economy of the farmers as well as the feeding of 123 children in Ngululene and Xai-Xai by producing local crops, such as rice, ground nuts, vegetables, casava, maize and sweet potatoes.

This week 500 secondhand clothes, donated by Jumbo Supermarket (Maputo), has been distributed by AMURT Mozambique to the needy children in different places of Xai-Xai district.

1. Children games with Mrs.  Sandra as the Special Guest

2. Learning languages (Portuguese, Shangana and German)

3. Eating together

Today's feeding began with spiritual chanting and meditation guided by Dadasu and then secondhand-clothes distribution to 100 children and neighboring farmers. Thank you to sister Gacheke, brother Scott and teacher Munic for the clothes donation.

This sunday our children feeding at AMURT Creche Mozambique was so special
since we got visitors of a yoga instructor of Yoga-in-Afrikan's Hands, Yogi Monks of
Ananda Marga Mission, an Art Promoter and a school teacher of YGS.
It started with a short spiritual chanting and meditation, and then we enjoy the food together
after the children's prayers, "O.... Deus, obrigado para as comidas, Amen."
It is said that selfless service is also a part and parcel of the holistic yoga practices in order to manifest divine love, love for Him by taking care of His wonderful creations.
